Volvo Trucks' biggest launch ever deserved a big announcement. In the film “The Tower”, we see the new Volvo FMX, Volvo FH, Volvo FH16 and Volvo FM trucks stacked on top of each other, complete with the president on top.

The ever-changing constant. Volvo trucks are constantly evolving. With every new generation comes a range of carefully designed and engineered improvements.

Volvo Trucks is taking a significant step forward in its electromobility journey by beginning pilot tests of a fully electric transport solution for the construction industry. The tests are being run in collaboration with long-standing customer Swerock. The benefits will not only include cleaner and quieter transport, but also the opportunity to evaluate how electric trucks can be used in the heavy-duty sector.

South African haulier ATS has always had an ability to see new opportunities in every facet of its business. The chance to test drive the new Volvo Torque Assist and reduce fuel consumption was one such opportunity, and it is already paying off.

Driver feedback was key to the updated Volvo FH and FH16 truck cab interior. As soon as you get behind the wheel it’s clear that the improvements create a safer and much more comfortable, user-friendly driver experience.

The redesign of the Volvo FM cab interior is the first since its launch in the late 1990’s. Carina Byström, Chief Designer Interior at Volvo Trucks, explains what inspired her and her colleagues during the floor-to-ceiling update.
